"How's it going", says the girl in the red skirt. Funny she should ask, because it turns out I just had some amazing sushi. And I do mean amazing. But, maybe it wasn't really funny after all. Kinda sad for the fish. What did they do to deserve it? They lived a good life though, and died with honor. The best honor possible - being eaten at a sushi restaurant. What else could you ask for? Not much really. A little ginger to cleanse the palette, some wasabi, and some soy sauce. Perhaps a glass of red wine as well. That is the life. The life of a giant Tuna.... or a Salmon, perhaps even some Eel. I'm told this doesn't make any sense. Sheesh, critics. It's like Ebert and that other dude. Nobody really knows his name. Oh well... just call him that other dude, he likes that. He has been going by that name since elementary school "Hey other dude" they would yell. "sup guys, good to see you" he would respond in stride. He really didn't mind, he kinda liked it in fact.... kinda like a fish likes water... wow, back to fish.

I have come to realize that I am becoming accustomed to online news. This morning I walked by the good ole fashioned newspaper dispenser and glanced at the article on the front page. 12 hours later as I was coming home from work, I glanced over and saw the same article, and was shocked that the news was the still the same. I am used to seeing cnn.com change news every hour or two - if even just the front photo.

Rose and I made a bet that I need to document here for historical purposes, since it is somewhat of a long term bet.
The bet: Shannon believes that in the 7th harry potter book, Harry will either die, or not be able to lead a normal life from this point on. Rose believes Harry will in fact lead a normal life.
The judge: Erin will be the judge of what a "normal life" entails, and will be the final word on who wins the bet
The prize: If the winner of the bet is dating - then the looser buys the winner and his or her date a dinner for two. If the winner of the bet is single, the looser buys the winner and the looser a dinner for two.
